The 7th district, in the heart of Budapest is a district full of history in the midst of transition. You can find here the Great Synagogue in Moorish style, as well as the small narrow streets with old historical signboards. This is the district of the “kert” too, the district of the alternative cafés which have been flourishing recently in the court of the uninhabited buildings.
